Who needs a student residence ID?
Anyone who wishes to study in Spain for at least six (6) months and is not a national of any EU country.
How can I pay for the student ID?
After submitting all the requirements and completing all the process, you will be given a piece of paper that you will need to present to get your student ID. In that slip, you will see the website where you can download the form that you need to fill-up. Please print everything (even if it seems duplicate). Submit all original copies of the signed form to the bank and pay. The tax receipt will be given to you after payment.
What should I bring to collect my ID?
You need to bring original identification card (preferably passport), Reguardo de Solicitud de Tarjeta de Extranjero (request slip that the ministry gave you), and the tax receipt from the bank.
What should I do if there is an error in my ID card such as mispelled name, different passport number, or wrong picture?
Check your ID before you leave. If you find any error, you can report it immediately to the office where you collected it. They will give you a slip that would allow you entry to the mentioned office without the need for a cita.
You will undergo almost the same process as your initial application. They will ask for your fingerprint and photo again so don't forget to bring another passport-sized photo. They will ask you to collect it after another month but you can check it anytime earlier. I got my corrected ID after 3 weeks.

It should be valid at least until the end of your class.
